Greetings &#8211;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Say Hello (any greeting that you feel comfortable with) and then the student&#8217;s name. Calling out the student with name builds a good rapport with the student at the word go.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333399;\">2. Doubts from Previous Class &#8211;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Ask the students if they completed the assignment, practice, self-study, etc. on the topics you have covered in the last class and if they have any query\/doubt on the same.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333399;\">3. Summarize the Topics Covered in Last Class &#8211;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Always summarize to your students in brief whatever you covered in the last class. This quickly refreshes the topics covered in the last class and builds a strong momentum.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333399;\">4. List the Topics that will be Covered in Today&#8217;s Class &#8211;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Set their expectation on what they will learn today, this makes the students feel that you are structured and this helps them get prepared besides increasing their confidence and trust in you.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333399;\">5. Explanation of What You are Doing on the System &#8211;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Don&#8217;t just run the system as an expert, put yourself in student&#8217;s shoes and accept the fact that they are new to the system navigation.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333399;\">6. Patience to Listen &#8211;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Getting students&#8217; confirmation on whether they are able to grasp the content, because in the online classes you don&#8217;t see facial expressions hence it becomes imperative to ask about whether the student is following you.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333399;\">7. Do Not Rush &#8211;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You loose your student&#8217;s confidence as soon as you start to rush on any topic. Also this creates a non-desirable learning experience for the student.\u00a0Be patient enough to listen fully to the student and don&#8217;t just start giving your answer without even understanding the student&#8217;s query or by interrupting the student&#8217;s question in between.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333399;\">8. Be Interactive:<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Don&#8217;t just teach, interact with your students, ask for input from students while teaching them, it is perfectly all right if they can&#8217;t answer a particular question but this will prevent them from falling asleep in your class or becoming inattentive or loosing motivation.<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333399;\">9. Give 5 Minutes Break Every Hour &#8211;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Break refreshes the environment and rejuvenates the students increasing their grasping power and concentration. It helps you too to relax a bit!<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #333399;\">10. Mandatory Items &#8211;<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Make sure that you have a good internet connection, headphone, laptop is fully charged or connected continuously to power source, there is no background noise.
