Google Cloud Platform (GCP) offers a variety of certifications to validate your skills and knowledge in cloud computing. The certifications are divided into two levels: Associate and Professional.

Associate certifications are designed for individuals with fundamental knowledge of cloud computing and GCP. There is currently one Associate certification:

  1. Google Cloud Certified – Associate Cloud Engineer

This certification demonstrates your ability to deploy, manage, and maintain cloud solutions on GCP.

Professional certifications are designed for individuals with advanced knowledge and experience in cloud computing and GCP. There are currently nine Professional certifications:

  1. Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect
  2. Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Database Engineer
  3. Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Developer
  4. Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
  5. Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Network Engineer
  6. Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Security Engineer
  7. Google Cloud Certified – Professional Data Engineer
  8. Google Cloud Certified – Professional Machine Learning Engineer
  9. Google Cloud Certified – Professional Workspace Administrator

These certifications validate your skills in specific areas of cloud computing, such as architecture, development, DevOps, security, data engineering, and machine learning.

In addition to the Associate and Professional certifications, GCP also offers a Google Cloud Certified – Digital Leader certification. This certification is designed for individuals who want to learn about the benefits of cloud computing and how to use GCP to achieve their business goals.
