Amazon Web Services (AWS) offers a variety of certifications to validate your skills and knowledge in cloud computing. The certifications are divided into three levels: Foundational, Associate, and Professional.

Foundational certifications are designed for individuals who are new to cloud computing or AWS. There is currently one Foundational certification:

  1. AWS Cloud Practitioner

This certification validates your understanding of cloud computing concepts and AWS services.

Associate certifications are designed for individuals with fundamental knowledge of cloud computing and AWS. There are currently six Associate certifications:

Professional certifications are designed for individuals with advanced knowledge and experience in cloud computing and AWS. There are currently six Professional certifications:

  4. AWS Certified Security – Specialty

Which AWS certification is right for you?

The best AWS certification for you will depend on your current skills and experience, as well as your career goals. If you are new to cloud computing, the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification is a good place to start. Once you have a foundation in cloud computing, you can choose to pursue an Associate certification in the area that interests you most.
